Dear teachers and all members of staff,
The prefects, as representatives of the entire student body, would like to express our gratitude for your tireless work over the past few weeks. These are difficult and unprecedented times for both students and teachers alike.
In recent weeks we have seen a lot of focus on the difficulties students are facing with online learning but we would like to recognise how equally challenging it must be for teachers and school staff.
The hard work, time and dedication given to online learning does not go unnoticed by students. We see how our school staff have worked so diligently to create a sense of peace and normality in our lives and it is so greatly appreciated.
Throughout our journey of learning from home you have been a constant friendly face and reminder of what’s truly important as we work towards a better and brighter future. The impact you have on each and every student has only been further highlighted by your perseverance during this lockdown. In the words of author Michael Morpurgo, “It’s the teacher that makes the difference, not the classroom”.
We wish to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us structure, education and most importantly support.
We hope to meet again in PCS very soon.
Kind regards,
The Sixth Year Prefects.
